Bare Al

Bare Al
  • Providing over 86% reflectivity

Bare Al can provide over 86% reflectivity from NUV to MIR wave band. However as Al will be slowly oxidized and result a significant reduce of reflectivity in UV, as well as little scattering in the whole spectrum. Therefore, we advice add a protective film, it doesn’t only address the above issues but also remarkably improve abrasive resistance, in that case coating is more protective during cleaning and handling.

Angle of Incidence: 0º or 45º Reflectance (λ: 185-400nm): Unpolarized;Ravg>90%
Reflectance (λ: 400-850nm): Unpolarized;Ravg>88% Reflectance (λ: 0.85μm -20μm): Unpolarized;Ravg>97%

Coating Workshop

Boxin has been continuously upgrading its coating facilities. At present, Boxin has 10 sets of advanced local and foreign made coating machines and customize various optical coating layers according to customer inquiries.

Film inspection

Boxin has established a completed coating inspection system, equipped with Hitachi u-4100 , FTIR-920 IR, american-made PE-Lambda 950 spectrometers and other advanced coating inspecting equipment, and also, Boxin independently developed the Laser-induced Damage Threshold machine to accurately testing LIDT coatings, so as to provide customers with high-quality LIDT coatings.
