To consolidate practical capabilities in precision optical processing and foster a workplace culture of competition, learning, progress, mutual support and excellence, Boxin Optics has wrapped up its Q2 Processing Skills Competition.

The contest featured two practical competition categories: lens cleaning and coating technology. The core evaluation criteria for lens cleaning were flawless surface clarity with zero component damage. The coating challenge adopted Leybold coating machines and centered on core optical film processes including silver coating and aluminum coating, with assessment benchmarks fully aligned with mass production workshop standards.

The competition proceeded in orderly fashion, with all participants strictly adhering to standardized operating procedures throughout. During the coating segment, contestants completed the full workflow in a standardized sequence: equipment inspection, chamber cleaning, parameter calibration, target material management and film layer deposition. Competitors precisely regulated critical variables such as vacuum conditions and coating deposition rates to guarantee superior film uniformity and high finished product yield. The lens cleaning procedure demanded extreme attention to detail; participants took meticulous precautions to avoid surface scratches and deliver spotless transparent lenses, fully demonstrating the solid technical proficiency and rigorous work ethics of front-line operators. Uniform judging criteria were posted on-site, while the Technical Department conducted impartial scoring throughout to ensure complete fairness and transparency.

After multiple rounds of hands-on evaluation, one model skilled worker was selected as the pacesetter for each competition track. A formal awards ceremony was held after the contest, where outstanding pacesetters who upheld standardized workflows and delivered exceptional process control were recognized with special cash bonuses. All competition results will be filed and publicly displayed, serving as key evaluation indicators for staff technical title assessment and year-end technical awards. These process benchmarks set exemplary role models for all employees to follow standardized protocols and deepen professional expertise.

Competitions drive practice, and superior craftsmanship builds professional value. Boxin Optics will continue to establish platforms for skill contests and technical exchanges to encourage employees to master core processes of optical coating and lens machining. All team members are encouraged to learn from the skill pacesetters, rigorously comply with operating specifications and refine professional craftsmanship. By manufacturing premium optical components with stringent process standards, the entire workforce will collectively elevate the company’s overall precision optical manufacturing competence.
