October 10, 2026 — Changchun Boxin Photoelectric Co., Ltd held a special technical seminar. The event invited technical experts from TRIOPTICS Beijing, the Chinese subsidiary of Germany’s TRIOPTICS, to deliver a presentation themed Optical Assembly Alignment and Metrology. Boxin maintains close business ties with TRIOPTICS Beijing, and both sides have carried out in-depth technical exchanges over time. Technical backbones from Boxin’s R&D, Quality, Production and other departments, together with students majoring in optics from the University of Science and Technology, attended the seminar. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge precision optics technologies and the engineering implementation experience.

Adopting an interactive “Presentation + Discussion” format, the seminar moved beyond conventional one-way lectures. During the session, Boxin’s R&D staff raised questions on manufacturing bottlenecks based on real production scenarios including optical element cold processing, lens assembly and finished-product inspection. Attendees actively put forward questions combining their job experience and expertise, creating a vibrant discussion atmosphere. The event enabled multi-dimensional exchanges among theories, precision instrument technologies and practical manufacturing know-how.

The presentation covered core metrology technologies across the full workflow, from individual optical components to complete optical systems. In the component metrology session, experts introduced test methods for fundamental parameters of optical materials, analyzed evaluation criteria for key specs such as surface figure, decentration and radius of curvature of various optical elements. They emphasized that consistent datum alignment throughout design, fabrication, assembly and inspection serves as the fundamental prerequisite to guarantee the precision of optical products.

For optical alignment and assembly, experts elaborated mainstream processes including centering assembly of lens groups and cemented component fabrication. They explained working principles and operational essentials of precision instruments such as centering telescopes, interferometers and MTF testers. Drawing on project cases spanning automotive, medical and space optics sectors, the experts shared hands-on experience in assembly adjustment and error control.

Staying practice-oriented, the seminar balanced academic theories and engineering application, offering valuable industrial references for on-site engineers as well as university students.

As a manufacturer specializing in precision optoelectronics, Boxin prioritizes technology and coordinates academic research with mass industrial production. On the product side, the company has built a full-cycle system covering optical fabrication, assembly and metrology. Precision inspection and standardized alignment run through the whole manufacturing process to strictly control the accuracy and reliability of optical elements and lens assemblies. For talent development, Boxin keeps building internal and external technical exchange platforms. Regular internal skill-training activities, together with thematic workshops with industry specialists and universities, facilitate two-way integration between industrial practice and academic knowledge, fostering a high-caliber technical workforce.

Technology exploration knows no end. Going forward, Boxin will continue to explore state-of-the-art optical technologies and deepen industry-university-research collaboration. Insights gained from this exchange will be translated into internal driving force for process optimization and product upgrading. Drawing on years of technical accumulation, Boxin will contribute to the high-quality development of the optoelectronics industry.
